Oleksii O. Kokliushyn (Shaman, Dok)

Serviceman Oleksiy Koklushyn (call sign Doc, Shaman) was killed on October 8, 2022 near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. During the evacuation of wounded Ukrainian soldiers, an enemy missile hit their vehicle. Everyone was killed except the driver. Oleksiy was born and lived in the city of Shchastia, Luhansk region. He graduated from the Luhansk Regional Medical College. In peacetime, he worked as a system administrator at the Shchastinsky Housing and Communal Services. He loved his native land and very much wanted to live in a peaceful country. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought for Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the medical unit of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar". "Words cannot express everything I want to tell about him. I miss him very much. And I still don't believe he's not with us," said the deceased's uncle Andriy. Oleksiy was buried in the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. The defender left behind a father, brother, other relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.
