- 31-year-old combat medic Oleksiy Kryvitskyi (call sign Medic) was killed on October 17, 2022, near the village of Yakovlivka in Donetsk region. During a combat mission, he sustained fatal shrapnel wounds as a result of enemy shelling. Oleksiy was born and lived in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi in the Khmelnytskyi region. He studied at school No. 12. He then graduated from vocational technical school No. 14, where he trained as a locksmith-electrician for the repair of household appliances. He served in the military for a conscription period. In civilian life, he worked at a factory and in store security. He loved football and fishing. He was involved in sports. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered to go to war. He served in the ranks of the 4th separate tank brigade. He saved his comrades on the front lines and dreamed of seeing victory. "Oleksiy was attentive, kind, empathetic, friendly, very positive, loved life, and always smiled. His favorite phrase was: 'Everything will be fine.' He tried not to offend anyone and to help everyone. He was ready to defend his native land, the integrity and independence of the Ukrainian state to the last drop of blood and to give everything for his homeland so that his relatives, loved ones, and dear people could live in peace and harmony. For the sake of victory, Oleksiy sacrificed his life. All of us, his relatives and friends, are proud of his courage, bravery, steadfastness, patriotism, and heroism," said the deceased's aunt Alla Shushkivska. The soldier was buried at the Alley of Glory in the cemetery of his hometown. Oleksiy is survived by his mother, three brothers, a loving family, friends, and comrades.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
