- Oleksiy Yemanoв was born on August 21, 1995, in the village of Krasny Mak, Bakhchysarai District, Autonomous Republic of Crimea. In 2016, he graduated from Sevastopol Architectural and Construction College. He has been a member of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine since December 2019. He held the position of motorist-sapper in the underwater demining unit of the special pyrotechnics group of the pyrotechnics and humanitarian demining unit of the special purpose rescue squad of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Luhansk Oblast. On October 19, 2022, while carrying out tasks in the area of the village of Yavirske, Kharkiv Oblast, the emergency workers' vehicle was blown up by an anti-tank mine. Motorist-sapper Oleksiy Yemanoв and his colleague were injured in the explosion, injuries that were incompatible with life. Oleksiy is survived by his civil wife, daughter, son, and parents. "I miss him so much. I remember that day we exchanged messages as usual. 'Good morning, did you sleep well?' — 'Yes! Everything is fine, dear.' And then — that was it... He never called back," recalls Vera Yemanoв, the widow of the fallen hero, through tears. Daughter Kira constantly remembers her dad and asks about him. And the little son will never see his father again. The boy was named after his dad. Oleksiy was a caring father and son, and his colleagues valued the young sapper as a professional in his field. For personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath, Oleksiy Yemanoв was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
