Oleksii P. Deineka

Oleksiy Petrovych Deineka was born on June 8, 2001, in the city of Kovel, Volyn region. He studied at Kovel Secondary School No. 12 and later graduated from vocational school. After obtaining his driver's license, he began working at a tire fitting service. Killed in action on February 27, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia region. He was buried on March 17, 2022, in the Alley of Heroes at the cemetery in Kovel, Volyn region. He is survived by his parents and grandmother. For personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as loyalty to the military oath, Oleksiy Petrovych Deineka was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.
