Oleksii R. Tyrpak

Serviceman Oleksiy Tyrpak died on March 1, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Ternі in the Donetsk region. For three months, he was considered missing. Then it was reported that his body could not be retrieved. Only on June 5, 2024, could his relatives bury him. The defender was forever 24 years old. Oleksiy was born in the village of Tur'ya Pasika in the Zakarpattia region. He had a secondary education. He was engaged in household farming. During the full-scale war, he defended Ukraine as part of the 95th separate air assault brigade, he was a reconnaissance spotter of the 1st reconnaissance platoon of the 3rd reconnaissance company. "My brother was fair, kind, shared everything he had with everyone. He loved and respected us very much. Oleksiy was sturdy and strong, he protected and guarded everyone. He went to the front himself, said: 'Mom, I'm also going to defend our Ukraine.' Mom cried, but he still went, did not leave his homeland. It is hard to believe that he is no longer with us, but he will forever remain in our hearts. He was and is an angel," said the brother of the fallen. Oleksiy is survived by his parents, brothers, sisters and relatives.
