Oleksii S. Miroshnichenko

Mironichenko Oleksiy Serhiyovych was born in March 1975 in Sumy. He served in the military from 2017, was the commander of a combat vehicle of the 27th Rocket Artillery Brigade named after Koshovy Otaman Petro Kalnyshevsky, a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was at the forefront. He held the military position of combat vehicle commander. He was killed on April 23, 2022 in battles in the Izyum direction in the Kharkiv region. During the shelling, he began to evacuate people, covering his comrades-in-arms. The farewell ceremony for Oleksiy Mironichenko took place on April 28, 2022. The fallen was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the Baranivskyi cemetery. For personal courage and selfless actions, demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, Oleksiy Serhiyovych Mironichenko was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree (posthumously).
