Oleksii S. Yavorskyi (Shatun)

Yavorskyi Oleksii Serhiiovych was born on September 12, 1992, in the city of Ovruch in the Zhytomyr region. He was called up for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2020 and signed a contract. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was on the front lines. He served in the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade. He held the position of driver of the air assault platoon of the air assault company of the air assault battalion military unit A0281. He was killed on March 20, 2022, in battles in the area of the village of Solodke in the Marinka district of Donetsk region. He was buried on March 29, 2022, in his hometown.
