- Senior soldier Oleksii Bilobrovka was killed on March 18, 2023, during an artillery barrage in the battle with the occupiers near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. Despite the fact that the place where he was killed was already in the gray zone, his comrades went there to retrieve the body. They said they had no right to leave him there because he was one of the best. On March 30, the warrior would have turned 29 years old. Oleksii was born in the city of Komsomolsk (now Horishni Plavni) in the Poltava region. After graduating from secondary school No. 6, he entered the Komsomolsk Vocational and Technical School No. 15, where he obtained the qualifications of a repair mechanic, bulldozer operator, and motor grader. In 2015-2016, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2017-2018, he worked at the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant. Oleksii has been involved in sports since childhood, becoming a true master of martial arts, organizing and conducting Thai boxing training. After getting married, he moved to Irpin in the Kyiv region. He collaborated with the sports club "Boiova Zhaba" (Irpin), the kickboxing club "IPPON" (Bucha). He taught children and adults. He loved to organize sports events that united all his students. He sincerely cared for every person. He was interested in foreign languages and loved to read. Oleksii and his wife and 11-month-old daughter met the full-scale war in Irpin. The man was not idle: he defended shelters, got food and water, and helped neighbors retrieve the bodies of their deceased relatives. He managed to escape the city on March 7. Seeing all the horror that was happening, Oleksii decided to defend Ukraine. He joined the ranks of military unit A4118, where he held the position of senior rifleman. "Oleksii was a real, kind, sensitive, pure, and kind-hearted person. A wonderful friend, coach, athlete, son, brother, husband, father, and our Hero. He gave faith and hope that there can still be such people like him in our world. His courage and dedication will forever remain an example for everyone..." - his loved ones and relatives said. "Oleksii was the best father and husband, his modesty was surpassed only by his kindness, he always gave more than he had. So pure-hearted that it sometimes seemed impossible. The concept of friendship was sacred to him, he was a person who was a friend to me and became family. Oleksii possessed such great inner strength that it seemed the world was held only by such people..." - his friend Yevhenii Nekliudov added. "During our 20 years of friendship, Oleksii became an integral part of my life, I loved him like a brother. I will always remember Oleksii's optimism and kindness. He was the best father for his little daughter Maiia and a beloved husband and true support for his wife Lera. Oleksii loved his family endlessly and always protected them," - recalled Vlad Iglinskyi. "My friend Oleksii was a very kind, honest, sensitive, fair, and courageous person. I don't have enough words to describe him," - noted Vitalii Boiko. "The kindest person I knew, a person with a huge heart. He always cared for his relatives, friends, and just acquaintances. He was always humane, fair, and sincere. We even sometimes called him Mercy at school. How much inspiration and motivation Oleksii had, which he passed on to the children. How he supported them, worried about them, how they respected and loved Oleksii. The world has lost a very great person who was an example of justice, kindness, and humanity," - wrote Maksym Bohodyst. The fallen warrior was buried with the salute of the honor guard on the territory of the military memorial "Their names will live forever" in Horishni Plavni. Oleksii is survived by his mother, wife, daughter, brothers, and many friends and comrades.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
