- Soldier Oleksii Bulka (call sign Bush) was killed on March 10, 2023, while defending the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The warrior's life was cut short by hostile artillery fire. The defender was 35 years old. Oleksii was born and lived in the village of Tarasiv, Chernihiv region. He studied at the Bileykivska secondary school and the Oster Construction College. He then graduated from the Sumy National Agrarian University with a degree in "Industrial and Civil Construction". He worked as a versatile master, engaged in the production of wooden products. He could do absolutely everything. He also worked as a plumber, tiler, painter, and mason. He kept a small apiary. He loved cats very much. He was always the life of the party and could organize any celebration. During the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend Ukraine. He served in the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. "Liosha was not just an uncle to me, he was my brother. We've been walking side by side all our lives. We supported and protected each other. We are 3 years apart in age. We were always together, and no one could believe that Liosha was my uncle, everyone perceived us as brothers. Liosha was not a warrior, he was a great master, he could have built a lot and brought benefit to people, but he chose a different path," said the deceased's nephew, Vasyl. "His young, sincere, kind heart stopped so that our hearts could live, so that we could wait for victory, so that we could remain free in our decisions and actions. Liosha's life was just beginning to spread its wings. But the war turned everything upside down. The price of freedom that the guy fought for us is exorbitantly high. We must never forget this," the Bileykivskyi Lyceum wrote. Bush was buried in his native village. At home, the defender was awaited by his fiancee, father, two sisters, brother, and nephews.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
