Oleksii V. Matiukhin (Kolibri)

Matyukhin Oleksiy Volodymyrovych was born on April 27, 1994 in the city of Zhytomyr. He graduated from Zhytomyr Secondary School No. 8. In 2010-2012, he studied at the Higher Vocational School of Construction and Design, specializing in "Painter, Plasterer, Tiler". In peacetime, he was engaged in landscape design together with his mother. In 2019, he made a conscious choice and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in military unit 1414, the 300th Training Tank Regiment. He met the beginning of the war in Chernihiv, took an active part in the defense of the city. Later, Oleksiy Volodymyrovych was transferred to the Kyiv region, and then to the Kherson region. He was killed in action on August 4, 2022 in the battle near the urban-type settlement of Zaitseve, Donetsk region. On August 10, 2022, he was buried at the Smolyansky Military Cemetery in the city of Zhytomyr.
