Oleksii V. Nykyforchuk (Tykhyi)

Oleksii Nykyforchuk (call sign Tykhy) was killed on May 11, 2023, near the settlement of Ozarianivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 35 years old. Oleksii was born in the village of Pyrizhna, Odesa region. After finishing school, he obtained the profession of a track foreman at the Odesa Vocational School of Railway Transport. He worked as a long-distance driver abroad. He loved fishing and doing things with his own hands. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family. He dreamed of buying his own home, so he worked hard for this, and in August 2022, he finally achieved his goal. During the full-scale Russian invasion, in December 2022, Oleksii went on military service. He held the position of senior driver - radio operator of the infantry squad of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign. "He was a real man. After the end of the war, he planned to continue his service. He dreamed of his own home, worked abroad for a long 9 years, and realized his dream. He really wanted his son Vladyslav to have his own corner, and he was proud that he managed to achieve his goal. My hero was very strong in spirit, purposeful, and diligently performed his duties. I am proud of him!" - said the wife of the fallen Suzanna. The defender was buried in his native village. Oleksii is survived by his parents, sister, wife, and son.
