Oleksii Ye. Reshetnykov (Yehor)

Serviceman Oleksiy Reshetnikov (call sign Yehor) was killed on March 20, 2023, during a grenade attack in the village of Ivanivske, Donetsk region. The warrior was 47 years old. Oleksiy was born in the city of Pervomaisky in the Kharkiv region. He graduated from the local secondary school No. 6 and the Pervomaisky vocational school No. 29. In civilian life, he was a long-distance truck driver, working for the companies "TERRA" and "Region". He adored cars and hunting. At the beginning of March 2022, he voluntarily went to defend Ukraine. At first, he joined the territorial defense, and then he was transferred to the 17th separate rifle battalion, which was later disbanded. Recently, he fought as part of the 5th separate assault brigade. "My brother was a patriot of his country. He dreamed of living in the Ukrainian Crimea after the war," said Yevhen Reshetnikov. The warrior was buried in his hometown. Oleksiy is survived by his mother, brother, wife, and five children.
