Oleksii Yu. Lastovych (Krechet)

Oleksii Yuriiovych Lastovych served in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, in the village of Novotroitske in the Donetsk region. In 2020, he was transferred to the Azov Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was at the forefront with the Azov fighters. He was killed on April 21, 2022, during combat operations at Azovstal, from a shot to the chest by an enemy sniper, which pierced two plates of his body armor. His body remained in the occupied Mariupol. After the identification of Oleksii Lastovych, he was buried in Zaporizhzhia on August 25, 2023.
