Pavlo A. Bochkariov (Bacho)

Soldier Pavlo Bocharov (call sign Bacho) was killed on November 13, 2023 in a battle with the occupiers near the settlement of Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 45 years old. Pavlo was born in Rivne. He graduated from the local vocational school SPTU-10 and obtained the profession of an electric gas welder. In 2005 he got married and moved to Kyiv with his wife. Later, the couple raised two children. He worked at the company "Kyivteploenergo". He spent a lot of time with his family. He loved fishing. In March 2022, the man became a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 101st separate brigade of the General Staff's protection named after Colonel-General Gennady Vorobyov. He held the position of a grenade launcher. At the end of 2022, he was wounded at positions in the Donetsk region. After a long rehabilitation, he returned to military service. "Pavlo was the best husband and father. A true and courageous patriot of our country. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he was in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the second rotation, he was wounded, but after rehabilitation he returned to the ranks. The third rotation was the last - he was killed while pulling a comrade from the battlefield," said the widow of the fallen Nina. The defender was buried at the Forest Cemetery in Kyiv. Pavlo is survived by his wife and two children. For his service, the soldier was awarded the decoration of the President of Ukraine "For the Defense of Ukraine" and the Order of Courage of the III degree (posthumously).
