Pavlo I. Brodiuk (Monarkh)

26-year-old junior sergeant Pavlo Brodіuk (call sign Monarch) was killed on January 7, 2024 while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Vilshana in the Kharkiv region. He received fatal injuries as a result of enemy mortar shelling. Pavlo was born in the city of Chervonohrad, Lviv region. In 2016, he obtained the profession of mining technician, electromechanic at the Chervonohrad Mining and Economic College. In 2020, he graduated from the National University of Water Management and Environmental Sciences with a degree in "Mining". In peacetime, he worked as an electrical fitter in the preparatory work section at the Vidrodzennia Mine of the State Enterprise "Lvivvuhillia". He performed the duties of the section mechanic's deputy. He was fond of computer games and was interested in military affairs. In the first days of the full-scale invasion, the man became a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought for his country in the ranks of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. He was the commander of a section of a platoon of strike unmanned aerial vehicle complexes of a strike UAV company. Pavlo received the status of a participant in hostilities, was awarded the medal "Participant of the ATO" and the award of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine "For Exemplary Service". "I am grateful to fate that you appeared in my life, you are the best thing I had, you are the meaning of my life. You fought for our happiness, freedom, for our future. You will be forever in my heart and always by my side, no matter what distance separates us. I will love and remember you all my life," wrote the girl of the fallen. "To be a warrior is to live forever," added his brother Andrii. Pavlo was buried in the Alley of Glory of the cemetery in his hometown. The warrior left behind his parents, a military brother, and a beloved.
