Pavlo I. Sobko

Sobko Pavlo Ivanovych was born on July 30, 1988, in Dudinka (Russia). He spent his childhood in the village of Revbyntsi, Chornobai district, Cherkasy region. He studied at the Kherson State Maritime Academy. He was a deep-sea sailor and worked as an electrician on ships. Since 2014, he has been a volunteer ("Volunteers of Cherkasy Region. Coyote Group") and has traveled the entire front line, supplying equipment and humanitarian aid to the military, as well as helping children with disabilities and children's homes in Cherkasy region. He was one of the organizers of the festival of the undefeated nation "Kholodnyi Yar". In 2015, he ran for the 7th convocation of the Cherkasy Regional Council from the All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda". During 2018-2022, he worked as the deputy head of the municipal enterprise "Misksvitlo" of the Cherkasy City Council. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he volunteered for the Cherkasy Territorial Defense Forces. In April 2022, he arrived to reinforce the 24th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed on April 25, 2022, by a sniper's bullet near the city of Popasna, Luhansk region. He left behind a wife and two children.
