Pavlo I. Vitko

Soldier Pavlo Vitko was killed on July 3, 2023 in the area of the village of Yampil in the Donetsk region. He was driving, transporting a medic and a wounded person, when enemy shelling began. Shrapnel hit the fighter in the back of the head, and he had no chance of survival. On July 11, the defender would have turned 31 years old. Pavlo was born in the village of Mylusha, Volyn region. He obtained the profession of a mechanic at the Lutsk Vocational and Technical School. He worked at a bakery, went abroad to earn money, did repairs, and was involved in the installation of stretch ceilings. He loved to go fishing and spend time with his children and family. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 4th separate tank brigade. He was the commander of a rifle squad. "Pasha and I were a very good family, we have a good little son, we dreamed of living under a peaceful sky, having more children, raising them, showing them an example, loving them with all our hearts, traveling with friends, doing our favorite things. He was always an example for everyone. A very kind, very generous, very friendly, loving husband and father. He loved his life," said Alona Vitko. The warrior was buried in the village of Harazdzha, Volyn region. Pavlo is survived by his mother, sister, wife and son.
