Pavlo L. Hulenko

Junior Sergeant Pavlo Hulenko was killed on May 7, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Kuzmyne, Luhansk region. The defender was only 26 years old. Pavlo was born in the Poltava region. After school, he moved to Kyiv, and did his military service in Sloviansk. Later, he signed a contract with the National Guard of Ukraine. In Sloviansk, the man met his future wife Sofiya. They got married shortly before the full-scale invasion, and later the couple had a daughter. The man defended the country as part of the 18th Sloviansk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He held the position of assistant grenadier in the infantry battalion. The defender was buried at the Northern Cemetery in Sloviansk. Pavlo's closest relatives are his wife and daughter. Pavlo Hulenko was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd degree, and the Medal "For Military Service to Ukraine".
