Pavlo M. Andriukhov

Soldier Pavlo Andriukhov was killed on October 25, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Klishchiyivka, Donetsk region. He, together with his comrade, covered his brothers-in-arms who were withdrawing from enemy positions. Both was killed. Pavlo was 37 years old. He was born in the village of Ziatkovtsi, Vinnytsia region. He received a secondary education. In peacetime, he worked abroad. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he joined the territorial defense of the Haisyn community. Later, he was drafted into military service. He held the position of a machine gunner in the 22nd separate mechanized brigade. He carried out tasks in the Donetsk direction. He was wounded. He repeatedly saved the lives of his comrades, risking his own. "Pavlo was a kind, brave, honest, and bright person. A caring son, a loving brother, a good comrade. We, his relatives, as well as all who knew him, are proud of him and will always remember Pavlo as a hero who gave his life for our future," his brother Oleh said. The warrior was buried in the village of Ziatkovtsi. His family was waiting for Pavlo at home.
