Pavlo M. Vysotskyi

Born on September 11, 1981, in the village of Rybynsk, Korukivka district, Chernihiv region. In 1997, he graduated from the 9th grade of the general education school in the village of Rybynsk. He worked as a laborer at the Rybynsk woodworking factory. He served his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the army, he went to Kyiv. He lived in the Sviatoshyn district of Kyiv. He worked as a glass processor at the Kyiv glass factory. On March 29, 2014, he was mobilized by the Sviatoshyn district military commissariat of Kyiv into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the deputy commander of a combat vehicle - a gunner-operator of the 9th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since May 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 9, 2014, around 21:30, Sergeant Vysotsky was killed in an infantry fighting vehicle (BMP-2) as a result of an explosive device detonated on the road along the route of a military convoy, 6 kilometers south of the village of Dmytrivka, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region. Junior Sergeant Oleg Mosiychuk was also killed with him, and on July 29, soldier Vitaliy Pidlubny died from his injuries in the hospital. On July 13, 2014, he was buried at the "Berkovets" City Cemetery in Kyiv.
