Pavlo O. Oleksiuk (Zuka)

Pavlo Oleksiyuk was killed on March 23, 2022, near Sievierodonetsk in Luhansk region. The warrior was performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Nizhne and received a fatal injury. He was only 22 years old. Pavlo was born in the village of Brylivka in Kherson region. After school, he entered the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs. When the full-scale war began, Pavlo was in his 4th year of study. The boy left his studies and went to defend Ukraine. As part of the 17th battalion of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Koshovyi Otaman Kostyantin Gordienko, Pavlo went to defend Luhansk region. He held the position of operator of the anti-tank department. "Pavlo was kind, bright, positive. He could always surprise, captivate, intrigue. He loved making surprises. For friends, he could organize a real holiday out of nothing, he was the soul of the company. He loved and was an example for his younger brother," said the defender's mother Natalia. The defender was buried in the city of Bershad, Vinnytsia region. Pavlo left behind his parents and younger brother.
