- Paratrooper Pavlo Chori (call sign Wolf) was killed on January 6, 2023, near the settlement of Bilohirivka in the Luhansk region. During the performance of a combat mission, the soldier received fatal injuries as a result of enemy artillery shelling. The defender was 36 years old. Pavlo was born in the village of Kliucharky in the Zakarpattia region. He graduated from the local school, then obtained secondary specialized education at a vocational school. He was married and lived with his family in Mukachevo. He worked a lot and tried to do everything to improve the lives of his loved ones. He dreamed of a peaceful future. He was passionate about cars, fishing, and repairs. He loved to spend time with his wife and son. During the full-scale war, Pavlo joined the defense of Ukraine as part of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a serviceman of the 122nd battalion of the 81st separate airmobile brigade. "My beloved husband was an incredible person, a gentle, the best and loving father. A faithful, good and wonderful friend. We had a love that is rare. Pavlo was always ready to help his neighbor. He loved life. He bravely accepted life's challenges. He was proud to be Ukrainian. Despite all my pleas, he went to defend all of us. This is a great loss for me, my son and our whole family. We still had our whole life ahead of us, many plans, but the inhumans destroyed everything. We will remember Pavlo as a wonderful dad, a loving, faithful husband and a wonderful person. For our family, he is forever a Hero," said the fallen warrior's wife Oksana. The defender was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the central cemetery in Mukachevo. Pavlo is survived by his mother, wife and son.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
