Pavlo P. Danyliuk

Soldier Pavlo Danilyuk was killed on October 28, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Spirne in Donetsk region. The defender's life was cut short by an enemy mortar shell. He was 24 years old. Pavlo was born in the village of Yaseny in the Chernivtsi region. In 2017, he obtained a profession as a forester at the Storozhynets Forestry College. He was passionate about sports, particularly volleyball and football. In 2019, the young man decided to dedicate his life to the military, so he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade. Initially, he was a signalman, and later he became a gunner. He participated in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO). From the first days of the full-scale war, Pavlo, together with his comrades, continued to defend Ukraine from the occupiers at the front. "I am his only close relative. Our Pavlo was a staunch patriot, he loved Ukraine. When he went to serve, there was no question of finishing his service after the contract ended. When he came home on leave, he said he had to return to serve Ukraine faithfully. He planned a family, children, but unfortunately, the war took him at the age of 24. We mourn, remember, and he will forever be in our hearts and memories," said the deceased's sister, Larysa. "May the kind, bright memory of the late defender remain forever in the hearts of his relatives, friends, and all who knew, loved, and respected him," noted the Storozhynets community. Pavlo was buried in the village of Novi Broskivtsi in the Chernivtsi region. He is survived by a sister.
