Biography
Pavlo Romanovych Li was born on July 10, 1988, in Yevpatoria, Crimea. He performed at the Kyiv theater "Koleso," and appeared in films and commercials. He became a star of the first Ukrainian horror film "Shtolnya" by Lyubomyr Levitsky (2007). He starred in the film by the same director "Shadows of Unforgotten Ancestors" (2013). He gained wide popularity during his participation in the Ukrainian version of the show "Star Factory-3" — Pavlo did not win, but was noticed by Konstantin Meladze and Anastasia Prikhodko (the project "Pasha Li" was created under the production of Igor Honcharenko). During the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, Pavlo became a volunteer in Irpin, helping people with evacuation (organizing processes), coordinating the collection and distribution of humanitarian aid. On February 25, 2022, he posted on social media an episode from the military drama "Myrnyi-21" by Akhtem Seitablaiev, in which he played one of the roles — a film about the heroism of Luhansk border guards in the summer of 2014. The last post contained the words: "In the last 48 hours, there is an opportunity to sit and throw a photo about how we are being bombed, and we are smiling because we will manage, and everything will be Ukraine. We are working!". He was killed on March 6, 2022, while in a civilian vehicle with other volunteers. Turning onto one of the streets, the car came under fire from Russian soldiers. The death of Pavlo is a war crime committed by the Russians, as he was not a military person. The first to report on Pavlo Li's death was Ukrainian lawyer and journalist Yaroslav Kuts: "Pashka Li... We didn’t even manage to take a photo... Rest in peace!". Pavlo Li's body was found on March 13. He was buried in the town of Vorokhta, Ivano-Frankivsk region, where his mother lives.Military service
