Pavlo S. Petrenko

Infantry soldier Pavlo Petrenko (call sign Trainer) was killed on April 23, 2023 during enemy mortar shelling in the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. The defender was 44 years old. Pavlo was born in Odesa. He received professional education at the Odesa Training Center No. 14, where he obtained the specialty of a carpenter. In civilian life, he worked as a fitness instructor at a fitness club. He loved sports and was passionate about dancing. During the full-scale war, he defended the country as part of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade. "Pasha was a very good friend, he always knew how to support, he always smiled. We miss him very much, it's a great loss for everyone who knew him, especially for the defender's family, for his mother and brother. Pasha was a talented person, he rejoiced in life and made people around him happy. He helped to achieve results in sports, supported and inspired by his example!" - said his friends Marharyta Maksymova and Sofiia Pirieva. Pavlo is survived by his mother, brother, and friends. The defender was buried at the Western Cemetery in Odesa.
