Pavlo V. Klimas (Raketa)

32-year-old soldier Pavlo Klimas (call sign Rocket) died on October 31, 2023 in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Nevske in the Luhansk region. The fighter received fatal shrapnel wounds during enemy artillery shelling. Pavlo was from the Lviv region. He studied at the Zarudtsi Gymnasium. He then graduated from Lviv Higher Vocational School No. 63 and obtained the profession of a computer typist and office clerk. He worked as a mechanic at Karbogaz LLC. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the man took up the defense of the Motherland from the Russian occupiers. He fought as part of the 7th separate rifle battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He carried out combat missions in the eastern direction of the front. "You are our Hero! We thank you. We mourn. You will be forever in our hearts," wrote the deceased's sister Olga Savka. "Pavlo was an extremely sociable and kind person, he always tried to help others," said the Lviv City Council.The warrior was buried in the village of Zarudtsi in the Lviv region. Pavlo is survived by his parents, sisters and nephews.
