Pavlo V. Milkevych

Senior soldier Pavlo Milkevych was killed on May 22, 2023 while carrying out a combat mission in the Donetsk region. In June, the warrior would have turned 26 years old. Pavlo was born and lived in Vinnytsia. After school, he graduated from Vinnytsia Higher Vocational School No. 7. In November 2019, he married his beloved. The couple raised a son. The man loved his family very much, so he worked hard to provide for them. He dreamed of raising his son and giving him the best. During the full-scale war, Pavlo defended the Motherland in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the engineering unit of one of the combat brigades. He courageously and responsibly carried out all combat missions, believed in victory and very much wanted to return home as soon as possible and embrace his loved ones. "Pavlo was a bright and kind person. It's very rare to meet such people now. Our godfather was always kind and caring. I have never met such a bright person. He always lent a helping hand. He was one of the first to go and defend our dear Ukraine and gave the most precious thing - his life. It's hard to lose people, especially loved ones. We still can't believe that our godfather is no longer with us. His memory will be eternal. Heroes do not die as long as their memory lives. Rest in peace, our dear one," wrote the deceased's godmother Snizhana. "He went to defend Ukraine without hesitation, because he loved it with all his heart. That's the kind of real man I dream of raising our son," said the warrior's wife Nadia. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Sabarivsky cemetery in Vinnytsia. At home, Pavlo was awaited by his mother, brother, wife, relatives, friends and a 3-year-old son, whose father had was killed.
