Pavlo Yu. Cheliadnyk (Odesa)

Soldier Pavlo Chelyadnik was killed in action in battle with Russian invaders on June 24, 2022, liberating the village of Pavlivka in Donetsk. A month before that, the defender turned 29 years old. Pavlo was from Odessa. He received a law degree in his hometown. He was interested in politics and spent his free time with family and friends. In civilian life, he was an entrepreneur and worked in trade. Friends and family remember him as positive, sincere, and persistent. They note that he always came to everyone's aid. During the full-scale invasion, Pavlo stood up for Ukraine, joining the 24th separate assault battalion "Aidar". He held the position of a shooter-sanitarian. "He was very fair, kind, and energetic. A patriot of his country," said his father Yuri Chelyadnik. The defender was buried at the Second Christian Cemetery in Odessa. Pavlo left behind his parents and brother. The hero was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the third degree.
