Pavlo Yu. Nakonechnyi (Istoryk)

Pavlo Yuriyovych Nakonechnyi (call sign "Historian") was born on May 20, 1997 in Cherkasy. He studied at school No. 5. He graduated from the Faculty of History of the National Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Drahomanov, and obtained a master's degree from the same university in the specialty "History and Social Sciences". His master's thesis was dedicated to the history of the Kholodnyi Yar - "The Kholodnyi Yar Organization in the Historical Memory of Ukrainians". During his studies, he distinguished himself with his activity and skilled analysis of historical events. He graduated from the university with honors. In his last year of the master's program, he worked as a teacher of history and law at school No. 7 in Kyiv. He was a member of the NGO "National Alliance". Pavlo Nakonechnyi participated in the Revolution of Dignity. Since 2014, he has been actively working in the field of national-patriotic education of youth, conducting military-patriotic trainings, camps and workshops. In the spring of 2020, together with like-minded people, he created the public organization "The Call of Yar", which closely cooperated with the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar". His life goal was to educate responsible youth. He spent a lot of time on self-development, constantly engaged in sports, read books and tested himself psychologically. At his initiative, many events were organized in the Cherkasy region, in particular "Pokrova in Kholodnyi Yar", "Winter Campaign named after Yu. Horlys-Horskyi", "Torch March in honor of V. Chuchupaka". On the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with four comrades. He served in the Special Operations Center. He served in the 73rd Special Operations Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed on June 18, 2022 during an artillery shelling in the Kherson region. Pavlo Nakonechnyi was buried on June 22, 2022 on the Glory Square in Cherkasy. According to his will, he was cremated. After the farewell in Cherkasy, the ashes of the Historian were scattered in the Kholodnyi Yar, on the territory of the "The Call of Yar" camp, which he loved the most.
