Biography
Father's name is Petro Anatoliyovych, born on December 22, 1985, in the village of Kutkivtsi (currently the namesake district of the city of Ternopil). He graduated from Ternopil Secondary School No. 25 and in 2021 from the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. Since 2009, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a contractual basis. During the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, he defended a military unit in the city of Feodosia, where he was captured. After being released from captivity, he voluntarily participated in the Russo-Ukrainian War, particularly from 2014 to 2017, fighting in the settlements of Shyrokyne, Talakivka, Hranitne, Lebedynske, Vodiane, Kominternove, Troitske, and Popasna in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. He served in the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade. Later, he held the position of commander of the 1st Motorized Infantry Platoon of the 3rd Motorized Infantry Company of the 21st Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion "Sarmat," subordinate to the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. Since September 2021, the unit under Petro Batkyvskyi's command was located in the village of Pisky in Donetsk region. On March 6, 2022, he received an order for redeployment and was defending a dominant height in Donetsk region. He was killed that same day in battle. He was buried on April 10, 2022, at the Kutkivtsi cemetery.Burial place
