Petro L. Harbarchuk (Shustryi)

Senior soldier Petro Harbarchuk (call sign Shustry) was killed on June 7, 2023 during assault operations near the village of Novodanilivka in the Zaporizhia region. The warrior was forever 29 years old. Petro was born in the village of Mezhyrich, Rivne region. He graduated from Rivne Higher Vocational School No. 10 and obtained the profession of a turner. In 2017-2021, he participated in the ATO / JFO. He served in the 10th separate mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man continued to defend his country from the occupiers. Since April 2022, he has served in a separate assault squad of the 65th separate mechanized brigade. "At the age of 6, he was left without a mother and studied in an orphanage. He dreamed of buying a house, starting a family - this was very important to him... He adored spending time with his nieces and nephews..." - said the sister of the fallen Svitlana. The defender was buried in his native village. Petro is survived by his sister, brothers and nephews.
