- Soldier Petro Polishchuk (call sign Rude) blew up on a mine in the village of Karnaukhivka, Kharkiv region on August 5, 2022. At the time of his death, the defender was 51 years old. Peter was born in the village of Bilyi Rukav in Vinnytsia region, lived with his family in Dnipro city. He received his education at the Vinnytsia Professional and Technical School. He worked as a trolleybus driver, and later became a private entrepreneur - engaged in the repair of fiber optic parts. During the full-scale war, he took up the defense of Ukraine, joining the 93rd separate mechanized brigade "Kholodnyi Yar". He held the position of mechanic-driver of an infantry fighting vehicle. "The best husband and dad, a wonderful friend, who could always be relied upon. He was a man with a sincere, kind heart, had golden hands," said the wife of the deceased Valentyna Polishchuk. The warrior was buried in the village of Yasne, Dnipropetrovsk region. Peter left behind a wife and a daughter. Posthumously, soldier Petro Polishchuk was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
