Petro S. Dzhula (Dzhyn)

Serviceman Petro Dzhula (call sign Dzhyn) was killed on November 12, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Kurdyumivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 40 years old. Petro was from the village of Vynnychky, Lviv region. He graduated from the Kurovytskyi General Secondary School of I-III Degrees named after Mykola Lemyk. After getting married, he moved to the Odesa region. The couple raised four children. The man always tried to provide his family with everything necessary for a comfortable life. Before the invasion, he worked as a security guard. During the full-scale war, in 2023, Petro joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to defend his family and Motherland. He held the position of a grenadier in the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the Donetsk region. "My father was a very brave man. He always sought justice," said Antonina Dzhula. The defender was buried in the village of Pavlivka, Odesa region, where he lived with his family. At home, his wife and four children were waiting for Petro.
