Petro V. Denysiuk

Paratrooper Petro Denysiuk was killed on December 20, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Synkivka in the Kharkiv region. He received fatal injuries as a result of enemy mortar shelling of the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The warrior was forever 34 years old. Petro was born in the village of Malyi Pravutyn, Khmilnytskyi region. He graduated from the Rivne Vocational Lyceum. In civilian life, he worked in construction. Before the invasion, he was an employee of the "Slavuta-Unix" company. On October 6, 2023, the man was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training in Poland and mastered the specialty of a sniper. He served in the 13th battalion of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade. "Brave, strong, handsome. The best brother. He wanted our Ukraine to bloom, but the cursed enemies took away the most valuable thing from him - his life," said the sister of the deceased, Halyna Zahoruiko. The hero was buried in his native village. He left behind his parents, brother, two sisters, and a son who was 8 years old at the time of his father's death. Posthumously, soldier Petro Denysiuk was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
