Petro V. Tsaryk

Soldier Petro Tsaryk was killed on May 3, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in the vicinity of the village of Zavhorodne in the Kharkiv region. The defender was 31 years old. Petro was born in the village of Zastavne in Volyn region. In 2007, he graduated from Zabolotska school. He then served in the military. When he returned home, he began making wooden furniture. He loved listening to music. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Petro took up the defense of his homeland in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the reconnaissance of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Roman the Great. "My Petryk was a very good person, a beloved husband, friend, son, who always had time to help everyone. In our village, there is his work in every house. He was very kind and cheerful to me, always loved to joke, pay attention to us with the children. It is very difficult for me to live without my beloved one. He is my other half, whom I lost. We love him boundlessly, we miss Petryk very much. I want to hear his voice, hug him and just be near... He is our hero, whom we will always remember and love," said the wife of the deceased, Tetyana. The defender was buried in his native village. At home, Petro was awaited by his mother, wife, and two daughters. Posthumously, soldier Petro Tsaryk was awarded the Order of "Courage" III degree.
