Roman A. Butko

Butko Roman Anatoliyovych was born on March 13, 1990 in the village of Hudymy, Romny district, Sumy region. Later, the family moved to the village of Yuskivtsi, Lokhvytsia district. He graduated from Luchansky school there. In 2014, he participated in the war in Eastern Ukraine, went through the Donetsk airport and battles for the city of Illovaysk. He then studied at the Sumy Agrarian University, which he graduated from in 2016. On February 25, 2022, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participated in battles in the Kherson region. He was killed on October 2, 2022 during a mortar shelling in the area of the village of Davydiv Brid, Kherson region.
