- Senior Sergeant Roman Namok (call sign Romchik) was killed on September 5, 2022 during assault operations in the settlement of Ternovi Pody, Mykolaiv region. The defender would have turned 46 years old on October 18. Roman was born in the village of Kantelyna, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Zoziv Vocational School, and obtained the profession of a locksmith. He worked at a mill at the Kantelynsky agricultural enterprise "Druzhba". He was interested in horticulture, planted many trees, and dreamed of a large orchard. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he joined the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk, served as a senior sergeant in the 11th Separate Battalion, and held the position of a machine gunner. The defender was awarded the "Golden Cross" badge and the Order of Merit, 2nd degree. "Romchik was kind, responsible, sensitive, always supported and helped everyone, probably that's why his comrades-in-arms gave him the call sign Romchik," said the sister of the fallen Larysa. The warrior was buried in his native village. Roman left behind brothers, sisters, and nephews.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
