- Born on May 25, 1983, in the village of Vyshcheolchedaiiv, Murovanokurylivetskyi district, Vinnytsia region. Graduated from a general education school. In April 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a squad commander of the 21st Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V2604). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 30, 2016, while returning from a mission to lay telephone cables, Sergeant Koval was blown up by an anti-personnel mine near the village of Pavlopil in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. As a result of the explosion, the serviceman sustained serious injuries from which he died. On July 3, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Vyshcheolchedaiiv, Murovanokurylivetskyi district, Vinnytsia region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
