Roman B. Ostapiv

Ostapiv Roman Bohdanovych was born on June 11, 1976, in the village of Myshkovychi, Ternopil district, Ternopil region. He worked as the deputy director of the private enterprise "Agrofirma "Medobory". He was a deputy of the Velykohaiivska village council from the European Solidarity party. He volunteered to go to the front in the spring of 2022. He was a driver in the engineering and technical company of the 24th separate mechanized brigade's engineering support group. He was killed on January 9, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. He was buried on January 18, 2023, on the Alley of Heroes of the Mykulynets cemetery in Ternopil. He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter.
