Roman I. Drebot

Senior soldier Roman Drebot was killed in action on June 25, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the Vovchoiarivka area of Luhansk region. The fighter was 24 years old. Roman was born in the village of Bitlia, Lviv oblast. He received the profession of a mechanic at the Turka professional lyceum. After studying, from 2016 to 2018, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine again. He fought against the occupiers as part of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. He was the commander of the machine gun platoon. "Dear, I love you very much, I often remember you. It's hard to believe that you're no longer with us. I miss you so much, our dear angel!", wrote Victoria, the niece of the deceased. Roman was buried in his native village. At home, his mother, five brothers, three sisters, and eleven nieces and nephews were waiting for him.
