Do not stand near you… Do not look into your clear eyes… I am now my beloved in heaven, And I will be able to come only in a dream. Well, I could not do otherwise! Because then, it would not be I, How could I stay at home, When my native land cries so much. When the enemy rages furiously, Which is worse than any executioners, What my native flag plunders, And kills the sons of Ukraine. When my brothers die, Protecting my land… How can I be aloof - When I love Ukraine! I did what I had to do - This is a war, my dear, a war! You tell my old mother, That my son did not die for nothing. You say that I died for the land, On which I walked since childhood… For the people, for the Ukrainian people - For all that I loved infinitely!.. Don't let me stand next to you… No to look into clear eyes… I am now my beloved in heaven, And I can come only in a dream. Now I am in a better place… I am waiting to meet you in heaven, my dear. I know one thing - in memory of you , Hero, we have to live life with dignity. The stars do not fall from the sky, but the stars go to the heavens…

I went to the east… But I promised to return… I remember as a group we escorted You to the ATO. And you laughed and didn't know, That there, in the sky, a place was already being prepared for you… You were in battles, you saw the face of the enemy, Although his grin is hardly called a face, When you got into the ring with your comrades, You understood that you would have to fight to the death. And the mother could not sleep at night, For some reason she prayed, she prayed for a long, long time, As if her heart had been close to her all this time, Until a bird crashed into her window. And at that moment I realized: "Her falcon is gone", because it was beating in the window His soul, like a bird, is lonely and sad, And the mother bowed her head wearily. My friend is a hero, he died yesterday in the war, And we I have to continue his work, Stand up for the defense of the Ukrainian land Because I am defending the Motherland and the state. We must remember everyone, Who protected us in this difficult time in the east, So that every grief-stricken mother knew, What not the son gave his life in vain…
