- Serviceman Roman Yaremchuk was killed in action on July 7, 2022, during artillery and tank shelling, while performing a combat mission near Bakhmut in Donetsk region. He was 25 years old forever. Roman was born in Zdolbuniv, Rivne region. He graduated from the local comprehensive school No. 6, and then continued his studies at the Kvasyliv Professional Lyceum. He obtained the profession of an electric gas welder. When the full-scale invasion began, Roman was abroad, but as soon as he heard about the war, he immediately returned to Ukraine. He served in the 46th separate rifle battalion. He held the position of senior operator of the reconnaissance platoon. He was awarded the Order of the "Cross of the Hero". "He was a brave and honest guy, still very young... He didn't even have time to get married. He is our hero! He went to mom in heaven," wrote the deceased's cousin Tetyana. The defender was buried in his hometown. He left behind his father, brother, grandmothers and grandfather, aunts, uncles, sisters, and brothers.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
