- Born on March 8, 1982, in the city of Poltava. Graduated from a general education school in the city of Poltava. $Was a member of UNA-UNSO (Ukrainian National Assembly - Ukrainian Nationalist Self-Defense). $After the outbreak of hostilities in eastern Ukraine, he underwent military training at the UNA-UNSO camp in the village of Petryk in the Lityn district of Vinnytsia region, then in the city of Novograd-Volynskyi in Zhytomyr region. $In 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Later, he continued military service under contract as a driver-grenadier in the reconnaissance company of the 131st Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V1109, village of Hushyntsi, Kalynivka district, Vinnytsia region). $Since August 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Portos". Participant in battles in the area of the city of Mariupol in Donetsk region. $On February 9, 2016, Senior Soldier Vasylenko died during treatment in a hospital in the city of Zaporizhzhia from acute pneumonia, which he contracted in the area of the anti-terrorist operation. $On February 12, 2016, he was buried at the Alley of Heroes in the Central Cemetery of the city of Poltava.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
