Roman M. Druz (Sarmat)

Roman Mykhaylovych Druzhets was born on October 12, 1991, in the village of Borshchivka, Kremenets district, Ternopil region. In 2014–2015, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). With the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he went to the territorial recruitment and social support center. He died on June 11, 2022, during an artillery shelling near the city of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region. He was buried on June 17, 2022, in his native village. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
