Biography
Kosenko Roman Mykolayovych was born on February 28, 1986. He was a participant in the Revolution of Dignity. He fought against the Russian occupiers in the East of the country from the first days of the war. Initially, he was part of the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps "Right Sector," where he became the commander of the 2nd Assault Battalion, and later he served in the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed on March 9, 2022, in the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region during an enemy airstrike. His body remained under the rubble of a building destroyed by a powerful explosion from an aerial bomb. The evacuation of his remains took place on September 11, 2022. He was buried on September 18, 2022, in the Glory Alley of the Lisove Cemetery in Kyiv.Burial place
