Roman M. Voden (Prizrak)

Voden Roman Mykhailovych was born on September 28, 1990 in the city of Shostka in the Sumy region. He studied at the Shostka secondary school of I-III degrees No. 7, which he graduated from in 2006. Until 2011, he studied at the Shostka Chemical and Technological College named after Ivan Kozhedub, and then signed a contract with a local military unit, where he served for 9 years. In 2020, Roman Voden continued his military service as part of the special purpose unit "Azov" of the National Guard of Ukraine in the Donetsk region, near the city of Mariupol. During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Roman and his comrades-in-arms defended the city of Mariupol in the Donetsk region, staying at the Azovstal plant. He held the military position of a mortar gunner. He was killed on April 15, 2022 in Mariupol. The identification procedure took a long time. The farewell ceremony and burial took place on January 26, 2023 in the city of Shostka.
