- Shooter Roman Yukhta died on November 10, 2022 near Marinka in the Donetsk region. The car in which the fighter was traveling was blown up by a mine. Now the defender is forever 39 years old. Roman was born in the village of Velyka Dymerka in the Kyiv region. He lived in the city of Brovary. After school, he mastered the specialty of a hydrogeologist at the Kyiv Professional College of Hydroexploration Technologies. For 20 years, the man dedicated his life to working in the management of anti-landslide underground works in Kyiv. His work to preserve the caves of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra lasted for two years, he also worked for a long time on the slope where the monument "Motherland-Mother" stands, and on other slopes of historical value. After being fired, he worked at a private company specializing in fish trade. And Roman's third and last job was "Nova Poshta". During the full-scale war, Roman voluntarily joined the ranks of the defenders. He was a rifleman of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. He had the rank of soldier. He defended, in particular, Kurakhove and Marinka. "Then Roman had several other locations and even a little time in the headquarters, where he was retrained as a scout, but there were very fierce battles in that direction, so he was returned to 'zero'," said the defender's wife Inna. "My husband was a very kind, friendly person. He always helped everyone. For me, he was the best: loving and caring. He dreamed of building his own house, he wanted to travel a lot together. This is a heavy loss for me, irreparable." The defender was buried in his native village. Roman is survived by his wife, parents, brother and two children from previous relationships. The warrior was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
