- Soldier Roman Goshko (call sign Gosha) was killed on June 30, 2023 near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. While carrying out a combat mission, he came under enemy tank fire and received fatal injuries. On February 9, the defender would have turned 37 years old. Roman was from the Volyn region. He was a resident of the city of Lutsk. He graduated from Lutsk National Technical University. He worked as a regional sales manager. In his free time, he loved to fish and pick mushrooms. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought for his country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a grenade launcher in the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade. "I feel unbearable pain, as well as the duty to enshrine in our family and Homeland the memory of my beloved husband and father," said the wife of the fallen Anna. The warrior was buried in the Alley of Glory of the cemetery in the village of Harazdzha in Volyn. Roman is survived by his parents, sister, wife and daughter.
