- Junior Sergeant Roman Kokudovych was killed on May 25, 2022 in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Dibryvne in the Kharkiv region. On April 5, the warrior turned 44 years old. Roman Kokudovych was a native of the village of Nesolon, Zhytomyr region. He graduated from Nesolon School. He worked as a loader and took on any job. Recently, he lived with his family in the village of Bobryk, Kyiv region. He adored his little son, as he considered him "a gift of fate". During the full-scale war, the man fought against the occupiers as part of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade. He was a squad commander and always bravely went into battle. "Romchyk was a very kind person, he could give his last to help. He was a beloved husband and a loving father of a 1.5-year-old son. He always sought justice and believed in Ukraine. Until his last breath, he was faithful to his comrades-in-arms and the state, fighting for peace, tranquility and victory," his wife Olga said. The hero was buried in his native village. At home, Roman was awaited by his mother, sister, brother, wife and son. The paratrooper was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree and the Order of Merit to the Novohrad-Volynskyi district.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
