Roman S. Zhuk (Arkan)

Roman Stepanovych Zhuk was born on August 13, 1987 in the city of Mukachevo, Zakarpattia region. Together with his wife, they had a joint microbrand "Povna banka" - they made jam from Carpathian berries. One of the founders of the volunteer project "Chysto.de", which was engaged in cleaning rivers, parks, and reservoirs. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he went to the front as a volunteer. He was a scout of the artillery platoon of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade. He died on May 26, 2022 during an artillery barrage near the city of Orikhiv, Zaporizhia region. He was buried on May 31, 2022 in his hometown. He is survived by his wife and two children.
